How image compression works
Fylix re-encodes your image at the highest quality that still fits your target size. If even a low quality setting is too large, it reduces the dimensions step by step until the file fits.
Compression vs. resizing
Resizing changes how many pixels an image has. Compression changes how efficiently those pixels are stored. Fylix compresses first and only resizes when it's the only way to reach your target.
